Junk removal and hauling
Garage and basement cleanouts, yard waste, storm debris and single heavy items. Loaded, hauled and disposed of.
What we haul
Tear-out work is a separate service. If a deck, shed or kitchen has to come apart before it can be hauled, that is covered on the demolition and tear-outs page.
What we cannot take
Some material needs disposal through dedicated channels rather than a transfer station, so it has to be arranged separately from the job. That includes paint, solvents, chemicals, fuel, asbestos and medical waste. We will flag anything we spot in that category.
Appliances, tires and electronics can usually go, but most transfer stations charge separately for them, so it is worth mentioning when you ask for a price.
What changes the price
Where it ends up
Metal goes to scrap. Usable furniture and equipment gets donated where a charity will take it. Yard waste goes to a compost site where one is available. The rest goes to the transfer station.

Common questions
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get to the items and know what is going. For a garage or yard, leaving it accessible is enough. For inside the house, someone needs to let us in.
Do you take single items, or only full loads?
Both. A single mattress or a mower is a normal job. So is a full garage.
Do I need a dumpster instead?
It depends on volume and how long the work runs. Hauling away in loads suits a one-off cleanout; an ongoing project where debris accumulates over days can work out better with a dumpster on site.
Can you haul from a basement or a second floor?
Yes. Stairs and long carries add to the price because they add to the work, so mention them when you ask for a quote.
Will you sort what is worth keeping?
Tell us what stays and what goes before we start. Anything you are unsure about, set it aside and we will leave it.
Do you clear rental properties?
Yes. Clearing what a tenant left behind is common work, and often runs alongside turnover repairs.
